Fun with the Flathouses

I had the pleasure of photographing the Flathouse family recently. They have a beautiful home just outside of the city, so we did their session right in their back yard. They have 3 beautiful little girls, which was a change from all of the all boy families that I've been photographing recently. What a perfect day, too. It wasn't 80 degrees like it has been the last few weeks - It acutally felt like Autumn!

Molly and Tylee

Here are Molly and Tylee, from one of my pumpkin patch portrait sessions. Molly already has her modeling down - she sure knows how to strike a pose! Miss Tylee is so sweet and bashful, what a doll!

Okay, as promised. . .

Here are some photos from the Portraits in the Canyon sessions. I'm planning on having another session like this the weekend of November 22nd + 23rd, so give me a call before it fills up. Thanks to all of the wonderful families for letting me be a part of their weekend.

My kitty kat

I just have to share some pics of my sweet little Kitty Kat. I couldn't find a costume for her, so I made one. I'm not very crafty, but I have a sewing machine so I gave it a shot. The arms are the same length, but the neck hole was too big so I had to safety pin it :) It probably would have been easier if my model would have let me try it on her while I was making it.

Anyway, Kacv Channel 2 PBS had a Halloween party on Tuesday and our sweet little kitty kat won cutest costume in the costume contest.

Buzz, Buzz, Buzz!

I love this time of year - pumpkins, cool weather, the leaves changing color. I think my favorite part is dressing up for Halloween. Now through the end of October, We're having Pumpkin patch portraits. It is $15 for a mini session in a local pumpkin patch. Come dressed in your favorite autumn attire, bring your children dressed in their halloween costume, or even bring your furry children for these portrait sessions. They are by appointment only, so call 806-355-0082 to schedule your session.
This is miss Ava. She's turning 2 at the end of the month, so her Mommy brought her out to have her pumpkin patch portrait taken for her birthday invitations. Her daddy is currently stationed in Afghanistan. We're documenting her birthday so he can still be a part of her big day even though he's so far away. What a sweet little Bee!

Recovering from the Canyon

Whew, I am completely exhausted, a little sunburned and covered with about a gazillion mosquito bites, but I had an awesome time this past weekend with our Portraits in the Canyon sessions. They were a major success! Palo Duro Canyon is a photographer's dream- there are a million little secluded areas that make you feel like you're in a forest or a meadow - or on Mars depending on the area.
Since this weekend was such a success, I'm planning on offering another Portraits in the Canyon weekend sometime next month. Stay tuned for dates! I'll be posting some of our session images in the next few days, but until then, here are a few images from the couple that inspired this weekend. Rhonda and Sean are getting married in December. They are such a great couple - I can't wait until the big day. They recently moved here from Oklahoma City, so if you see them around, give them a big Welcome!
